Orders are shipping - Shipping update!

Wow.. It feels great to finally tell you, that your orders are on their way! We know it has been a long wait and we are truly grateful for your patience and your positive energy throughout the whole proces.
Shipping schedule: - 6-15 Nov: Sorting and processing all orders. - 15-18 Nov: All Danish, German, Belgian and some of the big orders are big sent out. - 15-20 Nov: All remaining orders are shipped to an international shipment carrier (this is done to avoid you getting extra custom charges). - 20-28 Nov: All international orders shipped.
Shipping method: All orders are shipped with tracking number. When your order is processed and shipped from our side, you will get a tracking number sent via email so you can track your order. Shipping times are 3-14 business days.
Should you have any questions or need to change your shipping address, please let us know as fast as possible, by changing your address on BackerKit. The last day to change your shipping address is the 15th of November.

October production and delivery update!

Dear Backers,
First of all we want to thank you for all the positive vibes and karma your are sending us. It's energizing to the whole team and keeps us motivated to push even harder. We know that you have been very patient and we thank you for that.
Last week we packed our bags and travelled to Turkey to oversee the last process of our SilverTech production.
We went through the SilverTech sock production that was in its final stage for quality check. We went through the socks ourselves and to be honest they are pretty darn amazing. The feel, the fit and the function is just as perfect as we dreamt off.
The boxer-briefs is almost finished and everything is looking good. This week the first batch of SilverTech boxer-briefs went through quality control, and the way the organic cotton works with the pure silver thread is simply magical.
We only use mechanical cutting to ensure an identical product throughout our product range.
We sat down with our Turkish production team to meticulously reviewed final fabric, stitching, and fit for the latest test batch of t-shirts and sadly the results did not live up to our expectations, the fit was too tight and not according to the sizing we had promised you. Therefore we took the tough decision to do them over one more time. This was no easy decision but we are perfectionists and we never take the easy way out, when we know things could be better. This means that the shipment date will be postponed to 4th of November.

Right now we are looking into the possibility of shipping SilverTech socks and underwear earlier than 4. november to those of you backers who only ordered these product, however we have not yet cleared whether this is possible. We will let you know ASAP if this is a possible solution.

Production and Delivery Update

Since the government in Turkey declared a state of emergency, things have been very different, in an otherwise well-functioning country.
Our batch of silver fibres was 3 weeks delayed in customs, which has set the whole production process back approx. one month.
Our production team is working as fast as they can, but since this is a brand new technology, we are also spending a lot of resources on quality testing.
Quality is a key value for Organic Basics. To ensure the highest quality of SilverTech we are constantly testing and making sure every product is perfect.It may take a little longer in the short run, but we know that a quality product will keep our backers happier in the long run.
We are very sorry that the products will be delayed until end of October, but we hope that you understand that no matter how hard we work and want to fulfil our promises to our backers, no one could predict a state of emergency situation in Turkey.

Shipping Update!

Dear Backer
We've been pushing really hard to meet our delivery deadline that was originally set to be august. Unfortunately hard work is not always enough.
Due to the terror actions in Istanbul and a military coup on the turkish government, business has not been as usual in Turkey.
We are of course very sorry about this, both on behalf of our Turkish partners that suffers from these actions, but also for you backers that will not receive your products in august as promised.
There has been no harm to our partners or their employees, but because of the terror and riots, nothing is going according to plan in Turkey at the moment. However things has been getting a lot better lately, but security is stil at a maximum level which makes importing goods from turkey a slow process.
The newest update is that we will recieve our shipment mid september and then we'll pack and ship your individual orders with expected delivery in end september.
We hope you understand and have a little bit of extra patience, we promise it will be worth the wait!

Dear backers,
Almost everyone has chosen their pledges, sizes and colors for their new Organic Basics SilverTech. However we still need the last 15% to fulfill the survey, in order for us to make sure we finalize the production with the correct size and colour distribution.
So if you have not filled out the survey yet, please do through this link.
The silver yarn is currently being spun together with our organic cotton, and we're still expecting to finish the production late in August. Therefore we are still planning to ship your products before September.
